The 16th IBA conference - held in Riva del
Garda from September 27th to 1st of October – has been a very
successful meeting. Apart from the high scientific standard of the
contributions, we believe that also the beautiful location (the
conference hall is just on the shore of the Garda lake, and from the
windows we could see the Alps), the proximity with Verona and Venice,
and the famous wines of the region concurred to make this conference
very attractive; 394 specialists from 39 countries of the worlds
attended the conference, making this one of the largest IBA
conferences ever organised.

Program and abstracts
Oral and poster presentations are scheduled on September 27th, 28th, 30th
and on October 1st. Field trip excursions are scheduled for Thursday,
September 29th. An Ice-breaker is planned for Monday, September 26th,
while the gala dinner is scheduled on September 28.
